Do you mean the "Annotator opBlunder" one ?
If so it should remain in place as it is useful for some people (like me).

Nice project, but it uses a lot of JNI (Scid backoffice remains in
C++). I don't know if it is already usable.

This error is a lack of cleanup after a connection failure. Please check CVS
: it should be corrected now.
Note that the origin is a failure so check /dev/tty.usbserial is correct and
has read + write rights for the user (not out of the box under Linux for

My guess is that it will be exported.

You can edit a Polyglot book from Scid, and moves cannot be deleted (simply
because I was too lazy to do that), but their weight can be set to 0 which
is mapped to epsilon.

The unresponsiveness only lasts a couple of seconds. If I set comparisons
for dumb engines that calculates at ply 100 when it knows it's a mate in 2,
this will slow down the analysis process in general.

It is in CVS now, you don't need to make the changes yourself (but you will
need to recompile).

This engine is so suspicious that any link pointing to it is prohibited at
talkchess.com. It seems to be a kind of Rybka clone.

Strange. Did you try to reinstall Scid's source files and compile again from
a fresh directory ?
Last resort : rename ~/.scid directory.
