Hi,
thanks a lot.
Yes, Joost is right. I would like to have for the entire data base the
normal time order (olders first) inverted, that is, newers first This option
does not exist presently in the maintenance window. Franz's trick works only
for one game, the last one. Unfortunately. I see this
Hi!
Does anyone know how to make scid sort a table base in a time order such
that the most recent games appear first? It should be a matter of one or two
clicks, kind of 'invert order criteria', but I haven't found how.
It is a bit irritating that scid shows me always those old games that I

Hi.
I have DeepShredder11 working in scid. I can play against and analyze with
it with no problem. But I do not have a clue for your crash. Must be some
very little detail somewhere... I only give Name and Directory. The rest
must be defaults, I guess.

Since crafty and phalanx are not UCI machines, it seems, the answer is

Hi!
Thanks a lot. I set up the machines and all the 'Play' options are now
working. There was only a minor delay. The option 'serious game' refused to
start. The reason: one has also to "configure the UCI engine". Small details
that confuse any freshmen and I guess should go to the tutorial.

On the other hand, the Analysis option does work, with scidlet, with my
installation of crafty-22.1 and with the version installed together with
scid, crafty-21.6.
May be someone has an idea about what
