well i got around the problem by temporarily installing a PCI graphics card.
after that, the RH installer ran fine. so i think it has to do with the
motherboard, since the same (AGP) graphics card works fine with the RH
installer on other machines.
thanks,

If you have a decent AGP card, I suggest, for Linux at least, running that

I've had an NVidia Gloria II for nearly 4 months now, and it's still
not cooperating fully -- xlock and tuxracer won't go with the 0.95
driver. You might save a few bucks by goi

Hi All,
I recently had my PC built with an ATI-Pro-Rage Graphics card. However,
after installing Linux 6.0 I was disappointed when it did not load and the
error appears to be my graphics card.
I am unsure where I can find out a list of supported Graphics cards for
Linux6.0. Does anyone have

Last time I install Red Hat linux, that card was correctly detected and

Anyone had any good or bad experiences using this card? I'm asking now
before I open and install it, just in case.
Comments welcome. :)

Hi
Well, initially I wanted to buy the Millennium II card, but someone posted to
this list that he had experienced some problems with it, something about his
screen loosing an inch for some reason, so I have been looking some more at
some Diamond cards.
Anyway, I would really appreciate it if so

I'm not sure how long the millII's been out, but I'd say near a year

Yes. Should not be an issue, or at least I've never heard of it being one.

(currently) supported by linux. It is the fastest card for x, so that's
always nice ;-) I would suggest getting the rpms for xfree the newer
