First: Thank you all for your suggestions and advice.
I think I will go for the Matrox Millennium II card. Just a cupple of question:
1) Do I have to download a driver from somewhere or can I just run Xconfigurator
to get support for this card.
2) If I can just run Xconfigurator: Will all the options for this card be
available, like 1024x768 (This one is missing with my S3-card )
3) Does the number of options available have something to do with the amount of
RAM on it.
4) If I have to download a driver: Where can I get it. When I have installed it
will I have to run Xconfigurator, or can I access the properties another
way.
5) Someone wrote that matrox will ship a new card in june which will be much
better than the Millennium II. How fast can I expect support for this card
under RH5.0
6) If I install a driver for a graphics card, can I use it for any WM. I'm using
KDE, is that a problem
Well, thats just about it, maby I'll have to ask some more questions in the
future, but for now:
