It seems that setting the serial line speed to 38400 solved the login problem. (And setting it up to use PAP?) Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions! I can now connect and ping the universe, but Netscape can't seem to find anything. Even if I try to access my ISP's web site (http:www.cnwl.i
