I am trying to connect to my ISP with the ppp in RH 5.2.
When I use ifup, I get the following in my /var/log/messages:

How can I get this machine to connect to my ISP? Ultimately, I would like to
use this machine as my firewall/network fax/answering machine. Perhaps there
is something better than ifup/ifdown?
