I have a RedHat 9 server acting as a firewall for our
network. The server is connected via a router to a T1
line on the Wan side.
SSHD and Sendmail are the only services installed and
running on the server and there are no user accounts.
Iptables is set up to only allow ssh, and smtp.

Ok, now after getting the lan working, the firewall working, getting MS
frontpage98 extentions working - I'm wantintg to get news working
Innd is loading at boot ok, I don't have an active list yet, and I'm not
sure how to get that down from the ISP.
I don't want to carry the entire feed, (
s the 5.0 rpm Apache, I used
linuxconf 1.10-34 ( for 5.0 ) to get apache up and running in the first
place.
Any ideas?

Ok, with all the typing about raid this week on the list, I thought I'd
look into getting 2-4 drives down at my local swap shop ( very nice bulk
buys they get in to sell "retail" vs ordering the "retail" kits - saves
lots of money when all you get a small brown box and a manual :) in lue

spell checker, so my
only using the libc-5.4.44 file might be a partial soultion.
Anyone else know why the spell check would fail with a file not found,
when the dictonary is listed in the path setup? I can dig up the error
if needed.

Apperntly it wasn't following the link across hard drives, so I had to
copy the 54 meg file across drives to /tmp and then the wrapper rpm went
in fine
