Go to jgo.local.net, there are some very good linux related sites
listed, the sites maintainer has a great linux guide that steps through
the basics of getting up and running with things like fetchmail.  It's a
book marked site for me.  I refer to it often with something new.

ALso has a link to linux web watch and FTP watch so you can see when new
rpm's have landed somewhere.  Very handy that
