you cant find the file it may be because you dontt have bind
installed! You may need to install bind. Download the RPM from the
redhat.com or rpmfind.net web site.
A useful alternative to bind is djbdns. You can find information at
www.djbdns.com.

regardless of your telnet problemsyou should not use telnet on a live
system which
is visible on the internet.
You should replace this with SSH, which is basically a secure telnet option.
Look into openssh.

Partition Magic would not run because it could not see the drive
letters.In the end I used Ranish to mess with the partition and then
Partition Magic to finish the job.

Once upon a time, I was able to listen to audio Cds on my RH6.2 system.
Well over the holidays I tried for the first time in 6 months and I
wasn't able to do it. My GNOME session has audio and it works fine.

I have a Dell Inspiron with a Xircom CBE2-100 NIC. Everthing has worked
fine except for one small problem. When the laptop boots it has trouble
bringing up the NIC and delays the systems eth0 initialization. It
still manages to configure the NIC, it just seems that it doesn't happen

I'm running RH6.2 on a PC and for some reason after working for years,
I'm unable to print. I can't recall conducting any changes to my
system that may have caused this. In an attempt to fix it, I've deleted
the entire configuration and the printer directory and files. Then, I
reconfigured the
I posted an email a few weeks ago asking for help on setting up the ppp
interface on RH7.0. It was at that time someone mentioned there were
problems with ppp in this version of RH7.0. I'd like to share my
solution even though it isn't a full fix.
What I basically do is setup my ISP connection
