I've been with RedHat Linux since the 5.1 days. Presently, I'm trying to get a RH6.1 install completed. At one time I had a RH6.0 on this machine and the network card worked just fine. Well, when I do the same canned GNOME install for 6.1, I am unable to reach the network. I noticed that during the installation process that I was never asked to network the machine. What might be my problems? I've turned of PNP and manually set the base I/O and IRQ. Oh by the way this is a 3C509 NIC. Woes me!! What am I overlooking? Thanks in advance. Art Ross
