Johnie,
I came across your discussion on the list and noticed that you might have a solution
to a
problem I'm also having with a 3c509b. What is frustrating is that the NIC was found
just
fine in the RH6.0 version but now I'm having problems in RH6.1. Everything I've tried
has
failed. Thus far, I'm convinced it's the resources(IRQ or IO port). I have the PNP
turned
off and it hasn't been touched. That's why I feel that RH6.1 is trying to use
different
default resources that RH6.1.
Or am I talking out my head. If I program the IRQ and ioport on the NIC is RH6.1
suppose
to pick it up or does it assume some defaults?
Well, I hope that someone can help.
