We're looking at putting wireless cards into a couple of laptops here, one
is an older Toshiba, the other is a new Dell. Do any of you guys have
opinions on which wireless cards are supported best and are easiest to set
up? We'll be doing 2-3 laptops and only one AP.

Webmin gives you "console feedback" if the execution of a program / command
fails, unfortunatly they are pretty much truncated and half of the time you
only get the full error message when you execute it on the command line (I
had this happening to me more than once with Apache).

Well it basically looks like I can't get out from either server. I can get
in from anywhere, on allowed ports of course, but I can't get out. So far
I've tried ftp, telnet, and ssh out and nothing. I can ftp, telnet, and ssh

Linux box would be for sharing printers running on the Linux box to the
Winbox. The Samba Client might connect to the Windows printer, but you need

actually I use my WinXP system and RH 7.1 on the same machine and everything
works right. The key of the problem is the order of installation of the
operating systems. You have to install the Win2k first and then the Linux.
On the other hand I use LILO. I've no experiences in using grub.

Personnay i use apt the debian tool to manage the package you can download it to :
http://apt.freshrpms.net/
it is very easy to use :
for examples if you want to install gpm you type :
apt-get install gpm
it would download and install gpm and all the dependancies it needs
at the first use :

I've just resize my logical volume "/dev/rootvg/varlv" to 2Go (before it
was 600mo) by this command :
"Lvextend /dev/rootvg/varlv -L 2000m"
refering to "lvdisplay /dev/rootvg/varlv" it's all right but the result
of the "df" is always 600mo and that for all of the applications of the
