Hello,
is there a command line version to change the background picture of KDE
desktop from console?
I am creating a script that retrieves image from Astronomy Pic of The Day
(http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html) daily (as cron) and set them
as background. In different win manager (eg. FVWM) I can use 'xsetbg'. But
seems that KDE always overwrite the background set by xsetbg with itself.

Also, is there an easy way to detect is one is running KDE or not? So that I
can do something like

if ( running KDE)
  use ...
else
  use xsetbg

Any help will be appreicated

Thanks.
