I just did an install to a new system:
Athlon 1.3GHz
Tyan motherboard
512MB RAM
4MB AGP video (STB)
Adaptec SCSI (2x8GB and a CDROM)
80GB IDE drive
Linksys LNE100TX V4.1 NIC
The install went fine.
Every time I've tried to boot the system I get kernel panics.
Unfortunately they seem to be happe
I have a php script that connects to another server and collects
infomration. After a while i get a message saying Connection
Timeout(60). Is this comming from my apacher server or theirs? How can I
tell?

Well, for whatever reason, the printer now works and I didn't do anything at

Check the Samba HOWTO. It describes how to create this exact setup.
Basically you be using the Linux box as a PDC on your Windows domain.

What printer config program are you running?
/dev/lp0 (in Windows Terms) is equivalent to LPT1
/dev/lp1 == LPT2
Is your printer connected to your computer (lpt1), or through the
network (IP address), or is there a print server (hostname).

These aliases are defined in /etc/profile.d/colorls.[c]sh. Try something like
grep -lr "ls -l" /etc
I beleive that there is a way to convert a shadow system back in the
passwd file. Then upgrade & use pwconvert to convert it back in to the
shadow file again.
I'd doublecheck that first before jumping right in (hence, make
backups).

udf and iso files without success
1) Adjustment No.1 made to /etc/fstab
