I just did an install to a new system:

Athlon 1.3GHz
Tyan motherboard
512MB RAM
4MB AGP video (STB)
Adaptec SCSI (2x8GB and a CDROM)
80GB IDE drive
Linksys LNE100TX V4.1 NIC

The install went fine.

Every time I've tried to boot the system I get kernel panics.
Unfortunately they seem to be happening at different points in the
boot up process. I'm scratching my head wondering where to start.

(Although I'll probably catch hell for this, I did install W2K just
to see how it would react. And I got the box up and running, but I
need to get RH on that box.)

Any advice on what I should be looking at to figure this one out?
