Try looking in /usr/src/linux/Documentation, the kernel documentation
directory. More specifically, the networking directory. Most cards have
documentation that shows how to change duplex settings. I don't know about
recompiling, its usually just a parameter passed when you load the modu

halt. Inittab is set OK, what other files should I look at?

am doing a complete reinstall with a better firewall install. However, when I
go to reinstall RH7 with the updates disk and a new boot disk, the installer

i think it's the passive mode problem. try to reconfigure your client (or
the server) to allow/disallow passive mode

hi all,
I managed to redirect the www traffic with xinetd from the internet gateway
to the inner www server
I cannot do the same for the ftp
ftp port 21 works just fine
ftp-data port 20 gets no redirection
any ideas ?
