Hi,
I am wondering how to obtain the /boot/module-info file that is
installed by the RedHat kernel rpms. What is it used for and how is it
generated?
Also, what is the /boot/vmlinux-2.2.16-22 file in the /boot directory.
Is this an uncompresses kernel image? Why is it there?
I would like this information so that I can install a custom kernel
from the sources and I want to make sure that I have all of the
necessary files. Any reference material that you may have would be
appreciated. Thank you for any information that you can provide.

Thank you,
Gary Stiehr
