The background is a little convoluted, so if I leave anything out, just

Look at the /etc/sshd_config file and you will see a line like this:
PermitRootLogin yes
change that to:
PermitRootLogin no
As for only allowing certain machines to connect we use IP based allow
hosts:
AllowHosts 192.168.23.24

I just installed the commercial for non profits version of SSH2. I've the
server on a linux machine, and a client on both and NT and Linux box. What
concerns me is that I was able to log on to the server with no problem.

Yes and No, Intel has released there own patched version of the xserver to
work properly with the i810 chipset. I've been running it for over a week
now with zero problems. Kudos to Intel.

Upgrade to kernel 2.2.16-3 from RedHat's site, run Xconfigurator
choosing 4MB for Video and you should be up and running. Easy as pie.

did:
Loaded RH6.9.5 (7.0 Beta) running X v.4.01
Ran the command: XFree86 -configure
This will build a dual headed XF86Config File for you and store it as
XF86Config.new in the /root/ directory.
Now run Xconfigurator and go thr
