I just installed the commercial for non profits version of SSH2. I've the
server on a linux machine, and a client on both and NT and Linux box. What
concerns me is that I was able to log on to the server with no problem.
Each client in it's own way just just an OK prompt on the NT machine
automatically accepted the servers public key.

I don't want this...I thought I could control through the keys which
machine is allowed to access my server. I'm still reading and rereading
FAQ's, but I'm just missing the point somewhere. Also what really thrilled
me is that my linux machine client (which I was root at the time) logged
into the server as root. My telnet doesn't allow a root login.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself,
his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest
-a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our
personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our
circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of
nature in its beauty. "
