cpu, rather, they show cpu as a whole, so the maximum one task can take

Today i got a MPIO mp3player in my hands and of course (since im only

(but not all) file downloads with both http and ftp protocol, when

Another idea comes to mind. Boot in single mode and change root's
password to something new. Maybe the password file got screwed up? (You
might end up having to re-create all users passwords.)

Well I got in with a bash prompt, edited the the file. Rebooted, but I still
get Login incorrect. I have tried root, and several regular user names and

What is the dis/advantages of running auth standalone or through inetd.
(I was lurking in to this one since I obviously have made the same
configuration error. (Doh.) Now trying to decide which one to keep. :-)
