While going through the Chip magazine of Aug'99, page- 124 (last para), I encountered the following lines regarding checking the PPP support. It asked to run '/usr/sbin/pppd' and said: 1. If nothing appears- Congrats 2. If garbage appears, it still works but you have a problem Could somebody elaborate what the problem could be as the same is not explained in the magazine.
