If I understand this correctly this affects only 6.8 based kernels (the jammy hwe-6.8 kernel is based on the noble kernel source). From what I can tell the mentioned revert is present in the noble:linux source already. So fixing that will bring the same change to the hwe-6.8 kernel for a given cycl
