The mixer module will only work if you compile with libasound2-dev
installed in Ubuntu... I do believe this may be a pulse audio issue,
as Im using Ubuntu here and I simply got rid of pulseaudio. It sucks
anyway.

Nope, I'm on an old Slackware Linux system with the automake and
autoconf mods as described below.
I tried building from CVS tonight (05.02.2006) and got the same
AC_DEFINE error. Others aren't having this problem so I'm confused as
to what is unique about our systems. :)

I updated E17 this morning, but compilation fails when I arrive at evas.
Output goes like this:

I think it is because Entrance doesn't start gnome-settings-daemon at
login. Try running it manually and restart an application to see if it
