Removing one or more (or all) SCSI devices has no effect. Turning off the
scsi reset has no effect either.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

The later command recreated my ~/.kde directory and fixed my broken
~/.kde/tmp-${USER} symlink and added a~/.kde/sock
cannot print. When I have finished scanning and stopped the hpoj daemon,
I also need to restart the printer before I can print. It also works if
I disconnect an reconnect the USB cable.
Do you know a way to do this with software, so I can script the whole
process?

dont think it is Sylpheed-claws because the 2.6.0 editon should be
stable and the mailprogram itself works without any complaints at all.
So my guess is, that it has something to do with GTK.

I am using debian etch (testing) and mixmaster 3.0b2-3
When sending mails with mixmaster, the mails never reach their destination
mail address.
I first run mixmaster-update --verbose, and then mixmaster.
Everything looks perfect, and the mails seem to be sent.

Some of the preferences are still missing, but I don't really miss
them.
I conclusion I would say that 1.3.11a is a better browser than
