Apparently yes. I've just upgraded my system and tried again from GNOME

Hi!
After upgrading to OOo 1.1.0 today, no truetype fonts are available
anymore. SAL_FONTPATH_PRIVATE gets set to the debian directories, but
when calling strace soffice.bin none of these paths get opened at all.
Any hints?

In a text document or a presentation document (possible other tools of
openoffice.org), when I select a text and do italic, the icon is shown
as pressed but the text remains unchanged.
Conclusion : one cannot set italic text.

Hoever for me the old icons still seem to appear, but they have gotten a

After serval tries I found that interface is in french if
document is declared to be in french, in a mix of french and
english if document is declared to be in english. Might be an upstream
bug ?

For OOo itself it may be workarounded by setting scale in OO settings (btw,
is it possible to do this not for user but system-wide?).
For oopadmin no such workaround seems to exist ...
