Hi, do you still see this with OOo 1.1.0? If so, please will you have a look in the error log file of your window manager [1] and tell us what output from openoffice you see there? You should see a stack trace similar to this: Fatal exception: Signal 11 Stack: /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0x41370a3e] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0x41370bcb] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0x41370c96] /lib/libpthread.so.0[0x41152695] /lib/libc.so.6[0x41040578] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl645li.so(_ZN11SalInstance5YieldEh+0x34)[0x424f41ac] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl645li.so(_ZN11Application5YieldEv+0x61)[0x4231ae4b] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl645li.so(_ZN11Application7ExecuteEv+0x35)[0x4231ad5d] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin(_ZN7desktop7Desktop4MainEv+0x1ad7)[0x8064f71] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl645li.so(_Z6SVMainv+0x49)[0x4231f9f7] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvcl645li.so(main+0x4c)[0x424e9be0] /lib/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xce)[0x4102cdbe] /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin(_ZN6Window11RequestHelpERK9HelpEvent+0x39)[0x805e331] Please post that to the bug report. Thanks, Chris [1] On my system I have ~/.xsession-errors - I don't know if that applies to Gnome.
