after a recent upgrade, the toolbar style ceased to reflect the selected system
default setting.
my system default is "toolbar button labels: text only" but gnucash acts as if
i had selected "text below icons."

/bin/sash no longer being included in /etc/shells. this prevents me
from changing root's shell away from /bin/sash, as /etc/pam.d/chsh
