Package: libgnutls26
Version: 2.6.4-2
Severity: normal

after upgrading to libgnutls26 2.6.4-2 msmtp (1.4.16-1) is unable to connect to
port 587 of our mailserver using tls.

abeze...@abezella-laptop:~ > echo `date` | mailx -v -s "test from `hostname`"
abeze...@archive.org
send-mail: TLS certificate verification failed: the certificate is not trusted
send-mail: could not send mail (account default from /etc/msmtprc)
Can't send mail: sendmail process failed with error code 69

from ~/.msmtp.log:
Feb 20 09:07:57 host=mail.archive.org tls=on auth=on user=abeze...@archive.org
from=abeze...@archive.org recipients=abeze...@archive.org errormsg='TLS
certificate verification failed: the certificate is not trusted'
exitcode=EX_UNAVAILABLE

downgrading to libgnutls26 2.6.3-1 allows me to connect again.

thanks.
