I also get the same file if I use tar 1.15.1. I am building
tar on RHEL 5.5 (x86-64) with GCC 4.5.1; except that the 1.15.1

I blanked a DVD+RW disc with Brasero. Before blanking, the disc worked fine in
that it mounted, I could read the data from the disk, it unmounted, and it
ejected. After blanking the disc it would not mount or eject. I had to use

Please explain *exactly* how to reproduce this, as gscan2pdf only
writes the actual scans to the temp directory specified in the
preferences. All other files (you can write PNMs if you want) are
written wherever the user specifies in the file browser during the
save procedure.
