Hi,
I use Debian inside KVM (qemu) and in three setups where boot partition
is /dev/sda1 and logical volumes are on volume group consisting of
physical volume /dev/sda2, similar race condition appears and volumes
have to be activated manually from ash initramfs console. After that the
boot process can continue with mounting the root partition.
After applying StalkR's patch (many thanks), boot process goes as expected.
