I've documented this bit in the Release notes by reviewing the content of the 'Obsolete packages' section. See: http://svn.debian.org/viewsvn/ddp/manuals/trunk/release-notes/en/upgrading.dbk?r1=7749&r2=7750 I wonder wether we should add this our suggestion of installing the xserver-xorg-video-all package installed in the "Known issues" section as this problem might arise to other users who have manually selected an Xorg driver (i.e. they have not installed the 'desktop' task or the 'xorg' metapackage) Regards Javier
