Looking into it, it was the new doxygen. I used your patch as submitted
and just changed my dependency on doxygen to be >= 1.7.1. Thanks for
creating the patch and taking the trouble create the DEP-3 headers so I
could just plop it in.

savedefault doesn't work on Linux Software-RAID raid1. Well, at least I
guess it's because of the RAID.
The system in question has /boot on ext2 on md raid1 (degraded) on GPT
disk partitions.

I'm acknowledging this bug and the patch. I'll try to get a new version
uploaded in the next 48 hours and will report the bug upstream as well.
I think the patch is not 100% correct though. The version I built on my
own system (in a clean chroot) does contain gif files, so I'll need to
