It would be nice if I could navigate to a directory with nautilus
and then type a command in a launcher box which would run from
the current directory, for example `gvim newfile.txt` would chdir

Hi,
I'm seeing what seems to be the very same problem reported in this
bug, just with newer versions of grub-legacy and dmsetup:

I intend to orphan the kernel-patch-nfs-ngroups package.
Please read the debian-devel thread at [1] before adopting it, such
packages have far less value today than they used to - but that status
may change again.

It seems handling of ed2k links is broken now. Clicking on an ed2k:// URL
results in Iceweasel complaining that no handler has been defined for this

Not easily. Is there a way to figure out which version of udevd and
udevadm I got by looking inside the binaries?
Where can I see the udev entries currently in the queue?

The severity of this bug ought to be grave, since it makes the program
unusable. Fortunately, it looks like a pretty easy bug to fix, just
by removing the offending version check as suggested by the original
reporter.
