In the debconf screens when you install fwknop-server, you have at first the long description, and then below, the short description prompts the user for the *encryption key*. The encryption key is the password. That password allows fwknop-server to build the Rijndael block cipher, then checks whether the packet from the remote client matchs the block cipher. I understand that you may have been mislead by seeing the short description first :p! However, I think the template is fine once you put everything together. *This password* is with no doubt related to the *encryption key* as the template mentions. Regards, -- Franck Joncourt
