Downgrading xserver-xorg-input-evdev to 1:2.3.2-4 fixed the touchpad
(but broke the keyboard).
I don't have an xorg.conf file at all, is it possible to set the
"AutoServerLayout" setting in some other way? e.g., udev. I'll have a

I get the same error as the original submitter with the following
caveats:
1) I'm running AMD64 instead of i386.
2) I don't get any screen flickering or performance degredation. I just
get the error on my screen when I shut down GDM.

I can confirm that the problem is in the pgplot5 package. Converting the
perl script into C produces the same
libgtk2.0-0 is definitely the correct place for this bug. Reverting to
2.18.9-2 fixes this particular issue. Installing 2.19.1-1 or higher
causes the issue to appear.

I'm willing to include the autogroup contrib module but with
openldap-2.4.21 it gives some errors.
Are you able to check what's going on here ? And maybe rework the
patches a bit ?
