I disagree. There is no mention in the other bug about whether or

The recompilation trick worked fine for a while, but now I seem to be
back at square one with the same exact error showing up again, and this
time, I cannot get out of it. Now, not even recompiling apt solves the

I have the same problem with vpnc, i dont know if the problem is only
related with the vpn of the Universidad de Chile.
I think what the problem is in the recognition of the DNS servers. Then i
see the file resolv.conf in /etc/ and the output when i connect is :
