hi I have the same problem with vpnc, i dont know if the problem is only related with the vpn of the Universidad de Chile. I think what the problem is in the recognition of the DNS servers. Then i see the file resolv.conf in /etc/ and the output when i connect is :
cat /etc/resolv.conf # Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8) # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN nameserver 200.89.70.6 nameserver 172.17.100.34 nameserver 192.168.1.1 search uchile.cl then i sort the list put first the ip of my router (192.168.1.1) in the list, and this work. like this: cat /etc/resolv.conf # Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8) # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN nameserver 192.168.1.1 nameserver 200.89.70.6 nameserver 172.17.100.34 search uchile.cl the problem is that i need to change this file all the times when i entry to vpn -------------------------------------------------- Yerko Escalona Estudiante de Ing.
