It seems like the *first* run (after the startup, after few minutes in
which tspc hasn't been run) *always* segfaults; the subsequent runs
*sometimes* segfault.

Hi.
(1) There must be no executables in /etc/tspc, according to the FHS.
Configuration done by shell scripts should be split in the config part
that would stay in /etc, and the executable part, which can be put e.g.
in /var/lib//. The executable

It would be nice to be able to only install one part of
libmail-box-perl rather than the entire package.
This probably is an upstream bug as well, but you would ideally be
able to install the Mail::Transport part without also installin

Hi.
I don't know whether this has some security implications.
tspc segfaults sometimes when I run ``/etc/init.d/tspc start''. Also,
it segfaults if run as ``tspc'' from the root's commandline. A
backtrace as well as the strace -f output is enclos
The dependency is automatically generated
by /usr/lib/kde3/kopete_nowlistening.so.
Workaround:
# mkdir kopete/DEBIAN
# dpkg --extract kopete_XXX_i386.deb kopete
# dpkg --control kopete_XXX_i386.deb kopete/DEBIAN
Edit kopete/DEBIAN/control and remove libglib1.2, libgtk1.2 and xmms.

Here's a patch to /etc/default/cdrecord giving more universal defaults (new
installs come with a /dev/cdrom link if applicable, right?) - some users
still might need to tweak it, but I suspect it will work for more overall. As
long as your CD recorder is detected properly and it gets seen before

OK. I'll spend an hour or so boiling down a test case.

I can see that. However without a test case it is not clear to me
whether, or how, g++ could have done better. So I need a test case
