[Bug 238407] Re: network-manager-openvpn fails, openvpn succeeds
The gateway I'm connecting to, is a IPcop box with Openvpn (zerina) addon. There's also a SSH daemon running. When I shut down the sshd, I can connect with Network-manager. I know off such bug in OpenSwan (ssh and vpn getting in each others way) with PPTP (L2TP) with IPsec, the windows way. But then it's completely impossible to connect if there's a SSH connection open, or the other way around. I switched to Openvpn because of this ssh/pptp bug, and have always been able to connect with standard Openvpn (linux and windows) configured as a client. Very weird. [Bug 238407] [NEW] network-manager-openvpn fails, openvpn succeeds
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn When I connect to a openvpn (with gnome-applet) with X-509 certificates, the network-manager fails (timeout?). Openvpn has started by this action, but fails to connect. When I try to connect the second time. Network manager claims to have failed, 127.0.0.1 socket already in use. Openvpn keeps on connecting and establishes an connection to the server. The gnome-applet doesn't indicate that a Openvpn connection is up. Also the close connection option isn't led up in the gnome-applet. [Bug 55952] mouse works _sometimes_
Public bug reported: I have a logitech LX7 cordless mouse. (see http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=10918) My problem is that X does not always find my mouse. Usually if I "use" the mouse during booting of the computer X finds it (but not always). I often boot up only to realize I have to reboot to get it working. This is how it works in Dapper. In edgy I almost never can get it to work. There is one thing that I think might make it a bit trickier than a regular mouse: It has some sort of powersave function(see more on the link above), but I have no idea whether this might cause any interference... ** Affects: udev (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- mouse works _sometimes_ https://launchpad.net/bugs/55952 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 60752] Re: Does not resume from suspend
I'm afraid I might have mislead some of you. I've just tried with the kubuntu dapper live desktopcd and it doesn't work there either. But it does the same sort of "nothern lights.." as I was refering to before therefore it cannot be the Aiglx. I think it might just be my display that doesn't know what to show. -- Does not resume from suspend https://launchpad.net/bugs/60752 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I've tested with kernel 2.6.17-9 and it doesn't work. ** Description changed: Binary package hint: acpi - When I try to resume from suspend in Edgy knot 3 (installed and updated) - it shows some sort of "nothern lights" (I believe it is the AIGLX?) and - doesnt resume the session.
