I'm afraid I might have mislead some of you. I've just tried with the kubuntu dapper live desktopcd and it doesn't work there either. But it does the same sort of "nothern lights.." as I was refering to before therefore it cannot be the Aiglx. I think it might just be my display that doesn't know what to show.
