Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn

When I connect to a openvpn (with gnome-applet) with X-509 certificates, the
network-manager fails (timeout?).
Openvpn has started by this action, but fails to connect.

When I try to connect the second time.
Network manager claims to have failed, 127.0.0.1 socket already in use.
Openvpn keeps on connecting and establishes an connection to the server.

The gnome-applet doesn't indicate that a Openvpn connection is up.
Also the close connection option isn't led up in the gnome-applet.

Attached:
Error log, ifconfig output, versions.
