[Bug 340793] [NEW] cursor freezes in Jaunty Alpha 5 with Nvidia 180 driver

[Bug 411216] [NEW] firefox freezes intermittently
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-180 I am having trouble with X not responding to my mouse. At one point, the freeze-up was so bad that I had to resort to REISUB. [Bug 412713] [NEW] windowing system not responding properly to cursor or keyboard
Public bug reported: I am running Jaunty, after having run Karmic. Two days ago, I started having a problem with Karmic where I could not switch between windows, and my cursor would not work on menus. I could only work on the window I was currently on, and then only after clicking the mouse cursor several times or using alt + key combinations. [Bug 508218] [NEW] update-manger crashes with message could not grab mouse
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager The package is update-manager. I have been having this problem since Jaunty Alpha 5. Update-manager crashes with a message about not being able to capture the mouse. This also happens when I run update-manager -d. (I tried to upgrade to Lucid because Karmic has been the version from hell.) Expected behavior - the update-manager would check for new updates and allow me to install them. Actual behavior - error message and crash. The crash is so bad that I cannot run other programs afterward - the screen is frozen. Sometimes I can recover by clicking on other areas of the screen and regaining control. I know I won't be able to fie a bug report on another problem - when I downloaded the Lucid alpha 2 iso, burned it to cd (ok) and then tried to run it to upgrade, I got a kernel panic. Why aren't we allowed to file reports in launchpad without having the problem program up and running? I am so angry right now that if I am considering using another distribution. [Bug 934019] [NEW] Firefox responds to cursor intermittently
Public bug reported: When I open firefox, the cursor moves with my mouse but when I click, nothing happens. I have to go to the top of the screen and click on one of the headers - history, for instance- and then click again to let firefox know I don't want to use that particular header. Then and only then, I can get firefox to work when I click on things - at least until I need to change the focus back to firefox from another window. [Bug 1039279] [NEW] winetricks won't install much of the software listed
Public bug reported: Since I upgraded to quantal from a clean install of precise, I have not been able to get programs I need to install in the Steam prefix when I use winetricks. I have tried and failed to install mono28, vcrun6, dotnet40, xna40, ie8, windowscodecs, or allcodecs (although several of the codecs install before it dies). These installed originally on precise, and I was able to play a game I can't play now (Terraria). [Bug 1043533] [NEW] a windows cd mounted under /media/ginny instead of /cdrom
Public bug reported: I inserted a Bejeweled 3 CD into my cdrom drive expecting to be able to use wine to install it. It did not install - and I found that I could not locate the install executable in /cdrom. Upon looking further, I found that the CD was mounted to /media/ginny/BJ3PCMC-EN instead of /cdrom.
