Public bug reported: I am running Jaunty, after having run Karmic. Two days ago, I started having a problem with Karmic where I could not switch between windows, and my cursor would not work on menus. I could only work on the window I was currently on, and then only after clicking the mouse cursor several times or using alt + key combinations. Now, with my switch back to Jaunty, I am having this problem with Jaunty for the very first time since it was in alpha. Is there an old configuration file I need to get rid of? It got so bad in Karmic that Firefox 3.5 would not respond at all.
Update Manager does not work because I get a message that the computer cannot get a lock on the cursor. If I am on a window as I am now, the Applications and other menus do not respond. Please help me. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- windowing system not responding properly to cursor or keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412713 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
