Hello, I agree with Alexander.

I don't find it useful to have the game list window in docked mode, one can hardly see anything. Some windows are just not meant to be docked and should pop up by default. I however like the pgn window in docked mode but I would like to be able to have the engine window always at the bottom of the pgn docked window. I know one can do it but scid always forgets my settings or am I missing something? So I propose to have the board on the left and on the upper right the pgn window and on the bottom right the engine window. Everything else should just pop up. I propose to be the default. What do you think? I don't think my request is unreasonable and should be more user friendly for those first time users.
