Installing a new kernel with RPM I get: installing package kernel-2.4.9-31 needs 3Mb on the / filesystem
but it looks to me like I have plenty of room: ]$ df Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/hda5 178884 149560 20089 89% / /dev/hda2 23333 9635 12494 44% /boot /dev/hda12 703596 550532 117324 83% /home and so forth. There's about 20Mb on the root. Why is RPM complaining?
