Adding tags like [redhat-list] to the subject line causes difficulties to
most email readers for threaded views of the email list. If the
References: entry at the head of the email were maintained by all email
clients it wouldn't be a problem, but many email clients fail to handle
this correctly. Soon the email client is forced to try and sort these
subject lines into some coherent sense:

Subject: [redhat-list] foo
Subject: Re: [redhat-list] foo
Subject: bar
Subject: [redhat-list] Re: foo
Subject: AW [redhat-list] foo

The email tool has a better chance of handling this correctly (for all the
myriad variations) if the [redhat-list] isn't there.

It also gets in the way of reading the subject line.
