Recover rpm files deleted by hand

Hi,

I installed a rpm package, but I accidently deleted some of the
files by "rm ..." instead of "rpm -e ... ". Then as I do "rpm -Uvh ..."
it tells me "... already installed"; if I do "rpm -e ...", it tells
me "... not installed". So what can I do to recover the deleted files or
get around it and redo all the installation from scratch?
