Why won't you try the Acer as a secondary SLAVE? Just give
it a shot. Shouldn't change a thing in Windows, but I"ve
heard that sometimes the only way to get a CDROM working is
to put it on as the SLAVE controller! I'd almost be willing
to bet that if you put the Creative CDROM back in as the
slave and tried it under Windows, that it would work
perfectly!
