The kudzu prompt indicating that it was looking for hardware shows up during
the very first boot after installation. From what I am able to determine,
the sound card information had already been placed in the hwconf file.
But nothing is ever done with the information. I'm still awaiting more word
as to what is really happeing during installation and first booting.
