Hmmm.... I believe I tried the generic SVGA drivers. Same results.
VGA16 and Mono gave me the same headaches. I've setup other
manufacturer cards under Linux before. To my surprise ATI was the first
one I had problems with.

I hope they get better with releasing the specs in the future. I rather
enjoyed using the card under 95 for my games. However I'm really
impressed with the Voodoo 3 and wouldn't give it up. Considering it
took only two minutes to setup (if that), I would strongly recommend
people seriously consider 3DFX over ATI cards.
